Audio-Visual Aids

Audio Visual Aids are also called Instructional Meterial. Audio literally means "hearing" and Visual means that "which is found by seeing".

"So all such aids, which endeavour to make the knowledge clear to us through our senses are called Audio-Visual Aids."

Or

"Audio-Visual Aids are important in eduction system. Audio-Visual Aids are those devices which are used in class rooms to encourage teaching learning process and make it easier and intersting."

Kind of Audio-Visual Aids

1. Audio Aids - Examples are radio, Tabe recorder, Gromophones, Audio cassette player.
2. Visual Aids - Examples are chard, black and white board, Picture, Models, Slide projector.
3. Audio-Visual Aids- Examples are TV, Computer, Film projector, VCD player.

1. Develops imaginative thinking power.
2. Learn to use apparatus.
3. Useful and proper teaching.
4. Active learning.
5. Develops curiosity.
6. Scientific attitude develops.
7. Self working capacity.
